I have a confession to make. Last week, I put up all three of my Christian sites for sale - Christian Poems, The Christian Outlook and Bible Online. This was on eBay and Sedo. There were some economic reasons behind this decision, but primarily, I was just tired of running the sites.
Anyway, a gentleman (I'm not sure if he'd like me to mention his name here) was interested in Christian Poems. In one of the messages he sent to me when we were discussing the site, he wrote - "... I am so sorry that you are unable to follow up on your sterling efforts to date, the site is a credit to you as are the many fine poems on there". Just this sentence seemed to trigger something in me because a few minutes later, I withdrew all three sites from the auction. I sent a message to the guy, not only apologising for withdrawing the items, but also thanking him for saving the day.
On reflection afterwards, I realised that it was the fact that he appreciated what I was doing and it dawned on me that there is work to be done and the sites shpould not be sold. Well I do hope that all 635 of you who are members of this site and those yet to join get the hint.
I do like appreciation and encouragement especially, as you have seen, sometimes I just don't want to do it anymore. Is it not interesting that, in the 7 ears I've beeon doing this, only 5 Feedback have been sent in. I'm sure we could do better than that.
Now that we've got that out of the way, back to business. I've changed the theme again :-). There was something very disorganised about my last effort. I hope you like this one. I am also gong to introduce a few additions to the site and also try to write a bit more. God bless you all!
