Why do some people have to die so young?
They've just started life's journey it's just begun
The lure of drugs is incredibly strong
The users think they do nothing wrong
The only ones who profit are the ones who deal
They play on mixed emotions young people feel
And as another young life has just been snuffed out
It makes you want to scream to cry and shout
Death is so unnatural to man
I wish it were something we could ban
But its there and we face it every day
As for drugs we should keep well away
Life is worth living no matter what's thrown at you
Take each day as it comes and you'll see it through
Don't dice with death live till your old and grey
Strive to be happy and live for today.
